Cemeteries play a vital role in our society, providing a space for mourning, remembrance, and cultural practices. Harrow currently has seven cemeteries, four of which now appear to be at capacity; as land use, environmental concerns, and urban development evolve, the Council must begin to assess the needs of communities and the impact of burial grounds on our communities, ecosystems, and local infrastructure.

As a local MP who is increasingly receiving views on this, I am seeking input from the public, local stakeholders, religious and cultural groups, environmental experts, and charities on these issues. To help me understand this sensitive issue, I would welcome comments you have; on the following topics but please feel free to share any additional comments.
